Career Success Program
The Horizons GFA Career Success Program is dedicated to securing full-time employment for all college students within a year of graduation. This program is a crucial part of the Horizons GFA mission, emphasizing long-term success with a wide range of opportunities and choices for each student.
Beginning in high school, this program emphasizes exposing students to a variety of career pathways. Integrated career curriculum lessons introduce students to options and possibilities they might never have considered or may not have known existed.
Once in college, students participate in programming that builds essential career skills and prepares them for the workforce. Through partnerships with external companies, the program exposes students to various industries and professions. A key component is guiding students toward paid summer internships, which not only offer hands-on experience and valuable connections but also often serve as a stepping stone to full-time employment.
HGFA then individually guides college graduates through job application processes with the goal of full-time employment in their area of interest within one year. HGFA is proud to share that our 2023 College Success Program cohort has reached this goal.
