Horizons at GFA helps students acquire the academic and social skills necessary to successfully complete high school and college. This is accomplished through our core units: the PreK-8 Program, Saturday Academy and the High School Program. Students in grades preK-8 attend Horizons for six weeks during the summer and on Saturdays during the school year. Upon entering 9th grade, students enter the High School Program where they receive weekly one-on-one academic support and mentoring from an academic coach plus two weeks of college prep in the summer. During their junior year, each student is also assigned a college counselor to assist the student and family in navigating the complexities of the college admission process.
